We are interested in how impacts of extreme climatic and weather events affect biodiversity under human pressure at various scales. Together with colleagues we research (1) how intrinsic biology may increase or limit vulnerability to these phenomena; (2) what are their ecological and evolutionary consequences on populations and species; and (3) how areas of conservation value become threaten by compounding impacts of climate change and human activities, including human responses on biodiversity.

We are happy to work with individuals who share similar research interests and would like to develop collaborations – Places available for the year 2024 have been filled.
